On January 31, we will select two winners, and their registration fees will be fully refunded. Please note: The refund applies to the cost of league registration only and has no additional cash value.
Spring team registration deadline is Saturday, February 14.

SELECT TOURNAMENT & CLUB TEAMS
JAB Select Tournament Teams are designed for high-level, experienced players. Our Club Teams provide an introduction to tournament play by participating in an additional tournament alongside regular league play.
We host required tryouts for players to be selected for either of these teams.
Available Teams:
- Boys: 4th Grade through High School
- Girls: 4th, 6th, 8th Grade through High School (5th and 7th Grade teams may be added if there is sufficient interest)
Commitment: Playing for a Select or Club team requires a commitment to the team for two consecutive seasons: the Spring and Summer schedule. The season will conclude at the end of July.
- Spring: Most teams will participate in both league play and tournaments.
- Summer: Teams will focus exclusively on tournaments.
While most tournaments are local, summer travel tournaments will include destinations such as Austin and San Antonio.
Additional Information: Each team’s tournament schedule, along with associated costs, will be posted prior to tryouts.

JAB JUNIORS SKILLS ACADEMY
K – 2nd Grade Boys & Girls: $295
Looking for your little one to start enjoying basketball and learning basic skills? JAB Juniors Skills Academy offers practices for kinder to 2nd grade boys and girls.

SPRING SEASON FAQS
What are the dates of the season?
Spring Season will officially begin with placement practices the week of Feb. 24th. The season will run through Mid-May with no practices during Spring Break week of March 10-14.
Where and when will practices be?
Our practice locations for the Spring season will be Jesuit, ED Walker Middle School, Walnut Hill Leadership Academy, The Winston School, Covenant School, St Rita, and the Stars Center (Farmers Branch). Locations are subject to change.
Spring practice schedule per grade level is still TBD but will be uploaded once a tentative schedule is finalized.
How often and long are practices?
League Teams:
- 2nd-3rd grade – 60 minutes practices twice a week
- 4th and up – 90 minute twice a week
Where will games be played?
We will have teams playing in several leagues which may include DFW Hoops (Coppell North Middle School), Dallas Stars League (Farmers Branch), Frisco Fieldhouse, Grapevine Fieldouse, Sportsplex, and PSA (Plano, Murphy, Mckinney). Exact league for each team is still TBD. Most leagues will have weekend games which could be Friday evenings, 8am-8pm, or Sunday 11am-8pm.
Are there tryouts?
Our league teams are open registration. We hold placement practices for registered players in order to properly roster them based on experience and skill.
JAB does have Select and Club teams of which tryouts are held. We will host those tryouts the week of Feb. 17.
Can we request to play with friends?
For league teams, we do accept friend requests, but they are not guaranteed, as we prioritize team placement based on skill level. If some players in the group are at different levels, they may be placed on separate teams. Typically, for players in 6th grade and above, we stop accepting individual requests unless an entire team wants to play together with JAB.
